Jamera McQueen has been singing since the age of 11 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Winston Salem North Carolina. Since then she has always had the passion to sing and would do so anywhere and everywhere she could. With her strong voice and ability to adapt to any type of style landed her the opportunity to sing with many different artist in all genre of music.

She had the fortunate opportunity to sing with Elder Christopher Brinson and The Gospel Music Ministries. But her career didn't stop there God has also placed her along side many National Artist such as: Rev. Hezikiah Walker, Albertina Walker, Willie Neal Johnson and The Gospel Keynotes, Rev. James Moore, Ricky Dillard, Rev. Kirvy Brown, Christopher Brinson, Otis Battles and the High Point Community Choir, Roderick Carter,The Bishop John H. Heath,Minister Anthony Douglas, Faith Evans and the R&B group H-Town. She has also appeared on the popular BET gospel show Bobby Jones Gospel.

As her talents grew she decides to try her hand at theatre. She was a cast member of the play "The Black Nativity Gospel" for the North Carolina National Black Theatre Repertory Company, based in Winston Salem, North Carolina and was founded by late Larry Leon Hemline. She has had the wonderful opportunity to be the Leading Cast Member performing as the Mahalia in the production of the Mahalia Jackson Story. This wonderful show has been seen on several occasions in the NATIONAL BLACK THEATRE FESTIVAL in Winston Salem North Carolina which brought thousands of people and celebrities from around the country.

Jamera McQeen has recently just completed her second solo project "Stretching Out On Faith". And in the process has been able to sing on other gospel projects by Chris Brinson and the Ensemble "What If God", Otis Battles and High Point Community Choir "Victory", Roderick Carter Family and Friends "Leaning", Jessie O'Banner and JOBs Company "180 Degrees", Grace & Mercy Records "The Sun Rises Out Of The East", Bishop John Heath and Company, Phillip Bryant and Pastor Greg Drumwright.
